This policy explains how Creatinine Clearance Calculator (creatinineclearancecalculator.net) handles information when you visit the site. We keep data collection small: the site has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no contact form. The site is a set of static pages and calculators.

Who We Are

Calculator Inputs Stay in Your Browser

Every calculator on this site runs in your web browser. The values you type, such as age, sex, weight, height, and serum creatinine, are used to compute the result on your own device. We do not send these inputs to our server, we do not store them in a database, and we do not save them in cookies or local storage.

The main creatinine clearance calculator does put your inputs in the page link. It adds them to the end of the page address, after a # sign, so you can bookmark or share a result (for example #age=60&sex=female&scr=1.2). Your browser does not send the part after # to our server, and Google Analytics does not record it in the page address it collects. Anyone you share the full link with can see those numbers, so clear them before you share if you prefer.

We do not ask for, and do not want, your name, your medical record, or any other health data that identifies you. Please do not send personal health details by email.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-R9LGCQEF2L) to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and which device and browser types are common. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) and collects data such as the pages you view, the referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device details. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use these reports in aggregate only. We do not try to identify individual visitors.

Advertising and Cookies

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads help pay for keeping the calculators free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, lets Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site and use their own cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to measure ads and show ads that match your interests.

You have several ways to control this:

• Turn off personalized ads from Google in Google Ads Settings (also reachable at google.com/settings/ads).
• Opt out of personalized ads from many third-party vendors at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The calculators still work with cookies blocked.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing. They may be based on the page you are reading instead. More detail is in Google's partner-sites policy.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before advertising cookies are used. We do this through a Google-certified consent management platform, which shows a consent message on your first visit. You can accept, decline, or choose by purpose. You can change your choice later through the privacy or cookie settings link that the consent message provides. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention, as the law allows.

Server Logs

The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic request details (time, page requested, browser type) to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix any error you report. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your email.

How Long Data Is Kept

• Calculator inputs: not stored by us at all.
• Google Analytics: user-level and event-level data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (2 or 14 months), then deleted. Aggregated reports, which do not identify anyone, may be kept longer.
• Advertising cookies: kept for the period set by Google and its partners, as described in their policies.
• Emails: kept as long as needed to answer and follow up, then deleted.

Your Rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you the right to access, correct, or delete personal data about you. You also have the right to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Our legal bases are consent (for advertising cookies where required) and legitimate interests (for basic analytics, security, and replying to email). You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to correct it. You also have the right to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Personalized ads may count as "sharing" under California law. You can opt out through Google Ads Settings or the browser controls above. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Because we do not hold accounts or names, most data about your visit sits with Google, not with us. To use your rights, email contact@creatinineclearancecalculator.net and we will help, or use Google's own tools. We reply within 30 days.

Children

This site is written for adults, clinicians, and students. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Sites

Our pages cite outside sources such as the National Kidney Foundation, KDIGO, and FDA drug labels. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how they handle data.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please also read our terms of use and medical disclaimer.
